Anyone who sees the Swiss today can hardly believe that she once trilled sweet pop songs in glittery dresses. The petite arms are now decorated with tattoos and a rock band strengthens the Zurich woman on stage - together with Roman, Buddha and Juwal Andrina (23) now rocks Switzerland under the band name Underskin. Her debut album "Collective Confusion" was hailed by the Swiss music magazine "Tracks" as one of the best debut albums of recent years.
But in 2016 she was briefly still seen as a solo act on the "The Voice of Germany" stage - for many who knew the sweet Popstar of the past, it was the moment that redefined the image of Andrina. With power songs like "Heavy Cross" by Gossip or "Best of you" by the Foo Fighters, the singer convinced the jury, especially her coach Samu, until the sing-off round.
HISTORY: But even before "The Voice" Andrina was no blank sheet in the Swiss music scene. At the age of just 13, she released her first single, at 15 she toured as the support act of DJ BOBO through the largest halls in Switzerland. In the same year she sang the title song of the TV Soap "Best Friends and belonged with "Drop of Drizzle" to the 10 finalists of the Swiss Preliminary Competition for the Eurovision Song Contest and performed live on the TV Show from the Bodensee Arena.
